When I walked into Denton Color Lab to photograph Summer's employees, I was so excited! Her salon is my new favorite place to play! I know that sounds silly but wow, did my creativity come alive with all the bright lights and what I call a runway.
It's OK to let loose and have a little fun, all ya gotta do is plan more time for the session! Of course, you would want your photos to match your business. At Denton Color Lab the atmosphere is fun and alive so why shouldn't their photos be fun and alive!
I had so much fun photographing these ladies, we even had fun with the group photos.
Are you ready for a change with your headshots? Give us a call so we can brainstorm together to come up with something unique and special as you and your business are. We are located in Denton Texas but willing to travel to provide you with great service.
Ethan, my grandson is so proud of himself graduating kindergarten and moving on to 1st grade. One day, he asked me why he didn't have a cap and gown photo taken like he did from Pre-K. Of course being a photographer and his grandma, we took care of that!
It's not too late to have your graduation portraits taken, NOW is the time!
It's also not too early to have your 2019 senior photographed. Session times are booking up fast, call us today to schedule yours. We will be more than happy to create lasting memories for you and your family.
As a bonus for booking your senior session before the end of summer, you will also receive a gift certificate (to use at a later date) for a family session. Portraits make great Holiday gifts!
Specializing in portrait photography, I rarely shoot nature. These images were taken at the Colleyville Nature Center. I challenged myself and tried different settings on my camera, although I did stay on manual settings. Thanks to Phyllis for the invite, it was nice to hang out with a friend and just be away and in nature and relax.
I have never seen such a big bee nest, check out all the bees in the nest! Wow, and check out all the honey!
The ducks are always fun although they didn't like my popcorn!
Photographing them in flight was a bit of a challenge, I am pleased that the images are sharp! I enjoyed the challenge!
I haven't sent out holiday cards in YEARS! It's like the old saying goes...the cobbler's children have no shoes! Well, this photographer spends so much time taking pictures for everyone else at the holidays, its hard to get my own card out. This year, I'm determined! LOL!
I had my three grandkids over for Thanksgiving...I had ordered them all matching Christmas pjs and I was able to get them ALL dressed and got them to take pictures together! It was a blast!
My husband, Scott, was a good sport and dressed up as Santa for the kids. They had no idea it was him...though Ethan did comment that Santa was wearing the same watch as Grandpa. I had to remind him to use his "Santa voice" a few times, but it went really well.
Our youngest grandson, Liam, would have been a happier boy if he had known Santa was just Grandpa in costume ; )
I can't wait to show you guys my cards when I get them together...but here is a sneak peak of some of the photos I took!
So proud to be part of You're Beautiful Luncheon and Style Show to help raise money for the American Cancer Society. The first luncheon I attended as a guest, I was feeling sad about the people who have suffered from such a horrible disease. Let's face it, we all know someone who has experienced cancer. After watching the show, I no longer felt sad. Rather, I left with a sense of comfort, joy and felt full of hope. As a way of giving back, I became the event photographer to capture the expressions of the models, the memories of the attendees, and to leave a lasting legacy of photos for the American Cancer Society.
What I learned in the last 13 year of volunteering for such an amazing cause, is that cancer does not have to be the end! Working with the models, hearing their stories and witnessing their excitement they show on that runways is nothing short of amazing. Not only do the models put on a great show, they also educate us who have not experienced cancer themselves. Cancer survivors are strong and passionate and are inspiring to us all.
You're Beautiful Luncheon and Style Show is all about celebrating cancer survivors (after all, every single model is a cancer survivor), to remember those who have not survived, and to raise money for the American Cancer Society to find a cure and support cancer patients.
Thank you to all the volunteers, models, and to all of you who have attended or donated to You're Beautiful! Luncheon and Style Show. This year marks the 15th year and the event raised an astonishing amount totaling $76,524.32, WOW!!! THANK YOU!!!
