So proud to be part of You're Beautiful Luncheon and Style Show to help raise money for the American Cancer Society. The first luncheon I attended as a guest, I was feeling sad about the people who have suffered from such a horrible disease. Let's face it, we all know someone who has experienced cancer. After watching the show, I no longer felt sad. Rather, I left with a sense of comfort, joy and felt full of hope. As a way of giving back, I became the event photographer to capture the expressions of the models, the memories of the attendees, and to leave a lasting legacy of photos for the American Cancer Society.
What I learned in the last 13 year of volunteering for such an amazing cause, is that cancer does not have to be the end! Working with the models, hearing their stories and witnessing their excitement they show on that runways is nothing short of amazing. Not only do the models put on a great show, they also educate us who have not experienced cancer themselves. Cancer survivors are strong and passionate and are inspiring to us all.
You're Beautiful Luncheon and Style Show is all about celebrating cancer survivors (after all, every single model is a cancer survivor), to remember those who have not survived, and to raise money for the American Cancer Society to find a cure and support cancer patients.
Thank you to all the volunteers, models, and to all of you who have attended or donated to You're Beautiful! Luncheon and Style Show. This year marks the 15th year and the event raised an astonishing amount totaling $76,524.32, WOW!!! THANK YOU!!!

Oh my gosh! Such cuteness in this little guy! I love photographing little ones from infants to children and seeing their personality develop as they grow. Before you know it, they're starting Kindergarten!
These images are of Liam ages, 2 weeks, 5 months, 8 months, 1 year and 20 months. Such a sweet little boy!
Even though it was a hectic Thanksgiving with cooking, taking photos of the grandkids and then a visit from Santa, I loved the results! Isn't that part of what Christmas is all about? Making memories, Holiday traditions and celebrating Jesus? I hope Santa visiting the grandkids will be one of our traditions for many years to come.
I hope all of you will create your own Holiday traditions!
May all of you have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
I haven't sent out holiday cards in YEARS! It's like the old saying goes...the cobbler's children have no shoes! Well, this photographer spends so much time taking pictures for everyone else at the holidays, its hard to get my own card out. This year, I'm determined! LOL!
I had my three grandkids over for Thanksgiving...I had ordered them all matching Christmas pjs and I was able to get them ALL dressed and got them to take pictures together! It was a blast!
My husband, Scott, was a good sport and dressed up as Santa for the kids. They had no idea it was him...though Ethan did comment that Santa was wearing the same watch as Grandpa. I had to remind him to use his "Santa voice" a few times, but it went really well.
Our youngest grandson, Liam, would have been a happier boy if he had known Santa was just Grandpa in costume ; )
I can't wait to show you guys my cards when I get them together...but here is a sneak peak of some of the photos I took!
The Holidays have arrived, only 25 days until Christmas! It's the perfect time to get all your family members and loved ones in for that special portrait. We have a studio plus an outdoor location (weather permitting), or we will go on location. You can bring your pets at no additional charge! Portraits make wonderful holiday gifts, a gift that will always be loved. Gift certificates make great stocking stuffers too!
It was so much fun photographing Dana and Dr. Pomerance and their little family members, so much personality!
